Induction class 2

Having this be the first assignment I get from this class I had a lot of pressure in myself of doing it correctly. I understood as I read that I had to be something simple but fast, try but not too hard, show your creative side.

When beginning I loved the pieces that I chose to put together as somehow for me represented the four elements, water, fire, earth, and air. But as I liked each piece as its own, I struggled to put them together. Drawing in the one-line style became easier as I tend to doodle one-line drawings all the time. I knew it hadn’t to be perfect, but somehow, I wanted to portray how I show myself as an artist.

The cutting and pasting were easy but really shocking for me, as I have had to do everything online this past year, that to actually have to do something with my hands was shocking.

When combining the physical product with online tools I was a bit loss as I hadn’t done it before. For me it was either physical or digital a project I have never combined it before. But I did really learn from it because I saw how one thing can turn into a complete different one, even though I did struggle when pasting the fabric print into the designs, I am happy I got to do this activity.

For next time I would like to be more knowledgeable about apps or webpages that could help my work reach another level of artistic, but I like that I take struggles to make them into personal learnings and I am opened minded to improve myself.
