Toolbox 6

In this toolbox, sadly Im still an AA student but, planning on arriving to my next class so I cant wait. For this class we had to do a customer profile, choosing from all the possible customers that we have encouraged in the past weeks. With this I took my time and to actually see the 10 possible customers that I had taken picture or chose a picture of and thought which one connected more to me, and made me think it was the most interesting one. With that in mind I reduce my options to two possible customers, taking into consideration that I am into hair and make-up I wanted to create a product that would relate to this interest. This is why my two finals was Adela, who is creative, and passionate, loves art and music, and definitely a make-up fan. On the other hand the second possible customer for me was Francisca, she is animal lover, musician, also great artist, enjoys sunsets, and it is really calm. With this two customers I decided to do a chart for both to have all of their interests labeled and make it easier for myself to choose.

Francisca gave me a more natural, and glow look, kind of vibe, if I were to create a final look as a product, and Adela gave me a more colorful, and outstanding, fearless kind of look if it wear portrayed with make-up. I think it was here where I made my decision for going for Adela, she would make a perfect customer for a make-up product. From the chart I had made of her, she loves traveling, and she is into bright colors, sustainable brands, and loves to buy things that maker her, her.

With now my customer now chosen I had to anyways create a more detailed and final customer profile for both Francisca and Adela to have an even clearer view of which customer I would prefer. In this activity I felt quite in an advantage place, as in high-school I had business as an elective and we would do a lot of customers profile, so it came easy to me to create one. I tried to keep a balance between the words and the images, to make it visually appealing even to me, so that I have a big inspiration when creating a product for my customer.

This activity was fun, and really well thought. I felt like it prepared me for next toolbox, that would be the design of the product, by having a more clear view of who I want to appeal with my product, and how will that affect positively in my customer. It also demonstrate me how all areas in fashion industry are connected, which was amazing, business with styling, and drawing, illustrating, hair and make-up, media, marketing, they all come in one big package and that is great.
