Session 2- The costumer/ shop reports

From this online session, I have learned the importance of the fashion business. How much weight the customer actually has, and how all-in fashion it is connected. In order to be successful if wanting to open a store, or create a brand, or design a new type of clothing, it all has to have market research in the back, in order for it to succeed. 

Learning about the customer’s profile and the comparative shopping I have gained more interest in the fashion business. I do believe it has more weight than I initially thought about connecting to all of the fashion, so I most definitely want to focus a little more on the next units. 

I will have to continue developing my research skills, but mostly the focus I give to it. As a customer, I had never really given as much attention to the environment of the store, or if the prices are displayed, or if their social media connects with its store and its website; but it actually it does matter. Having the correct display, or enough amount of discounts will attract consumers, which is something that you want when owning a business. So most definitely I want to improve my knowledge in this area to succeed. 

But generally, I really enjoyed this session as it made me realize that not because it’s “business fashion” is not going to be fun, or be creative, but instead it made me realize the importance of every decision that has to be taken. In some way it made me think of it as a trick one has to play on customers to make them feel attracted to the store, to buy in the shop. 

I would have much very like to learn this class in person, as it is still challenging to learn online, but the adaptation was perfect and clear, easy to follow. Still can’t wait to begin my face to face classes, to mostly listen from others opinions and get new ideas from my classmate and my teachers.
